George J. Arden was the founder of PPS and its affiliate companies. He was a pioneer in structuring economic services to benefit professionals in the health care, legal, business, and other fields. His broad knowledge of insurance and finance, coupled with a firm dedication to quality and an imaginative spirit, earned him national respect as a leader in the health and life insurance field. He served as President and Chairman of PPS and was the Executive Director of APPA and NARI until his death in 1983.
